111 Automotive Mobile Mechanics

111 Automotive is an awesome family-owned small business doing emergency car repair & maintenance throughout the Palm Desert. I was stranded at my friend’s uncle’s house where the A/C had broken down and it was 106 degrees. I’d been replacing my alternator and accidentally stripped the lower mounting bolt. I called these guys up and Devin came out to extract the stripped bolt, put on the alternator, and then Devin searched high and low throughout Palm Desert to find a corresponding bolt. It took him a day to find one, but kept me updated frequently on where he’d been and what he’d found. It was outstanding, highly transparent service, and Devin got me on the road within 24 hours of my original call, helping me get home to San Diego and out of the extreme heat. He also only charged me $2

I came by for some assistance and was immediately offered help by Juliana. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to take care of my car problem right away. She was very friendly and pleasant. She offers all kind of mechanic work and shared she is in school furthering her education. Highly recommend.

Spoke to Devin and was told they could do the needed repair and he would be glad to provide an estimate. They asked for my details via text. I provided my info via text for the promised estimate - no response. Sent a reminder text the next day - no response. Weeks later - still nothing. One of the biggest tests for any business is whether they actually do what they say they will do. 111 Automotive Mobile Mechanics does not. Edit: They responded here. "We're sorry you're unable to find our response in your records." Your failure to do what you said you would do is (of course) someone else's fault. Is it possible to give zero stars?

Called 111 after I found myself broken down on the side of the interstate. I walked Devin through what happened and we both agreed it needed more repair than what could be done on the side of the road (ended up needing total engine replacement). Devin was extremely helpful in recommending shops to perform the work and several towing companies. I ended up using his recommendations for both with great success and it greatly reduced the stress for an out of towner stuck on the side of the interstate. Very grateful for the friendly phone call and solid recommendations! Sad I didn’t have a smaller job that he could assist with!

Highly recommend 111 Automotive - Devon was out same-day and was affordable, fast & highly professional. If I lived in the area, he would be my mechanic for everything.
