Been looking for a Ford F-150 Raptor for over a year and finally found one I liked at 212 Motors. I asked them if I could put down a deposit over the phone and come take it for a test drive later, because I live out of town. They, of course, said they'd be happy to take a $500 deposit, but it was non-refundable and would only be held for 2 weeks because they sell vehicles so quickly. Red flag. If you sell vehicles so quickly what would be the concern with a refundable deposit OR holding it longer than two weeks? But, I decided I liked this truck enough to move forward, so I put a deposit down. On May 2nd I drove to Florence and purchased the vehicle.
