Highly recommend if you care about your vehicle (i.e. you want it to be like mint condition after repairs). I got some body work done with OEM parts and some new wheels installed. They did a great job with both and it was pretty fast too. Obviously it was more expensive than your typical chain body shop, but it was definitely worth it for me.

I can’t say enough good things about 55 Auto Works. From the communication, to the care that they put into their work on my vehicles, has been top notch. These guys are extremely knowledgeable about cars. I’ve had both of my cars taken to them and within a few hours they’ve diagnosed the issue and let me know what was going on. This is my go to shop whenever I need some work done on my vehicles. These guys are great at what they do. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for car mechanics that really care about what they do.

I’ve been going to 55 Auto for over 10 years, and they’ve handled everything from tires to fuel injection work for me. They’ve worked on both of my Toyota Tacomas over the years. Most recently, I brought in my 2018 Tacoma after the check engine light kept coming on and I had exhausted everything I could try on my own. They had the truck for just over a day, quickly diagnosed the issue, and made the repair. Time will tell, but I’m confident they addressed the problem correctly. I really appreciate their clear communication, fair pricing, and the high caliber of their technicians. I would highly recommend 55 Auto

Two finer points here over other mechanics I've been to in the area. Communication and diagnostic work. It seems that they really care about their work here. Very respectful and detailed when you ask them questions. They identified some issues on my wife's car that were overlooked in a safety inspection the day before at another shop. In cases like this it can be hard to know who to trust between the two, but 55 Auto Works provides great documentation via reports, pictures and videos throughout the process and their communication is genuinely great. Very responsive which I appreciate. They also respect your time. They'll let you know expected times when parts are ordered and help you plan around it. If you're dropping your car off.
