A-1 Transmissions & Automotive Repair

So where do I begin!? On Aug 14th 2024 they put in a refurbished transmission for 3,850 close to 4 grand! Not even 1 year n half goes by I had to take it back to them, now mind you, they only gave me 6 months for the warranty but within that 6 months I took it back the 2nd time, since I saw brown transmission fluid under my car, (it shouldn't be brown at all, the refurbished transmission was only a couple months old at that time) all they did was took out the old fluid put fresh in, took my car around the corner & told me there's nothing wrong with it. Fast forward a few days ago, my car was there for 4 days! 4 days they never called me, no communication what's so ever! I had to go up there in person on the 4th day, Paul told me he would call me in 2 hrs, 4 hrs has passed so I called back

My transmission failed shortly after arriving in Ocala. The owner, Paul, and his crew provided great service with quick turnaround. I needed some follow-up service with the repair and they turned it around quickly as well. They left me with the impression that they are good honest people who prioritize customer service and stand by their work.

Paul took my call, great guy. Very personable and down to earth. Got my van into shop at blazingly fast speed. While other shops in area told me it could take from 3 days to 3 weeks! His Guys took the vehicle, pinpointed the leak, fixed it and returned it by 9am the next day. I probably dropped it off at 3pm and I hit the road by 10am next day. A1 trans took the initiative and earned the business. I could nitpick the repair and cost but there wasn't a need. They did what I needed them to do and they didn't press me for anything else.
