This is by far the best auto mechanic place in Philly. Steve is so good and trustworthy I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I have had nothing but the best service here. If you’re going anywhere else I feel bad for you

Al is an old school mechanic and he runs a great local shop. Went in for a state inspection, and we stopped by to check in on it. It’s definitely not a traditional shop, you’re not greeted by a service manager or anything and Al does talk through his office door, but they have great customer service. He got our phone number wrong and he sent his brother out to knock on our door and let us know the car was ready! I mean how can you beat that kind of customer service? They’re both local to the neighborhood are such hilarious and genuine individuals. I’m really glad that we chose AA Auto & Truck Repair because they’re fantastic and not what I’m used to.

Poor customer service. I was first ignored when I walked in after I made an appointment. The first guy just pointed at desk for me to walk over to. Then I approached the office and was yelled at through a glass window. Apparently he couldn’t be bothered to open the door and speak to me. I explained that I had a brand new car (2024, under 5k miles) that was exempt under PA law for emissions and just needed the inspection sticker. Charged me an extra $50 for the emissions anyway. Glad he got his extra fifty bucks, won’t ever be going back. Don’t bother.

Great experience. Had an issue with my front bumper and brought to Steve to look at it. He gave me a fair price, took the car on the spot, and said it would be done in an hour. Fixed it in 15 minutes.

Terrible all around. Customer service was rude and dismissive. They tried to convince me my car didn't have the issue I knew it had, and made me drive it to near the point of breaking down to show it was an issue, only to be told that they wouldn't look at it. This mechanic actually broke my car more than when I took it to them. Awful experience, avoid at all costs.
