I was traveling from Lamar, Missouri, where I purchased this wild land fire truck. On the way, my transmission coolant tube cracked as a matter of sheer luck, A&B transmissions was the closest shop to me. I am grateful to the universe for this because it was by far the best customer service I have experienced in an incredibly long time. even more, this was the best experience I’ve had at an automotive repair shop. With likely less than a quart of fluid left in my transmission, I pulled in and Omar the owner took me right in. I parked and he immediately sent a crew to look at the problem. There was no wait, no filling out paperwork. He just took me right in and my rig was the focus. I was there all day and Omar straight up took care of the situation. Best guy ever! Oscar give me a price over the phone and it costed him more money to do the work than expected. But he honored the price he gave to me. And I was very thankful. Recently I went to aamco and they gave me one price over the phone and when I went in person after having my car for 2 days they gave me a different price. Left a bitter taste in my mouth. People expect mechanics to do their homework and give the correct estimate up front and not try to tack on money later. Thank you Oscar for your honesty and you got yourself a new loyal regular customer. Greatly appreciated.

I been getting service on my van for over five years and have received excellent service and honest prices. But most recently I needed my transmission replaced and again received exceptional service. My van runs better now than when it was new with over 365000 miles. This place is very honest!

I highly recommend Oscar and everyone at A & B Transmissions. I was hauling two horses from Denver back to Grand Junction and my transmission Sensor went out. I left my truck with him on the weekend and he got it diagnosed and fixed in a day. I was able to make it home and my truck is running great. They were professional, responsive, and a fair price. They helped me and didn’t take advantage of the fact I was from out of town. I can’t thank them enough!

Amazing family owned business. I have been here a few times and Oscar and his family who take care of the front desk are friendly as they are proficient in their line of work.
