Gonna try to keep this short. Took my truck jn for the transmission slipping. Got the truck back 3 days later AJ’s said the transmission was rebuilt cost me $5,200. Leave the shop and instantly there’s still slipping around 40 mph. Call the shop they tell me to drive it for a while. End up taking the truck back they keep it for a week and tell me there’s nothing wrong. I get the truck back start driving it and start recording it every time it slips. Take the truck back and they keep it for 2 weeks for warranty work. I go to pick the truck up after being told it’s ready again and I’m charged $1,200 and I leave and the transmission is still doing the same thing. Drive the truck as they as they tell me too and still slipping. Take the truck back yet again and they have it for two more weeks r

Definitely not a frequent review posting person here submitting this (and if I do it is generally because someone did something great that I wanted to recognize), but a very frustrated client today. Over the years, I have probably spent $15,000 - $20,000 taking vehicles to this provider and recently had an issue with an employee's truck. Three weeks ago, he was hearing something and said he had a problem with the back end. I told him to take it to AJ's and let them diagnose. They looked at the back end, said they saw nothing... then said the problem was in another place. We paid $1,077 for those repairs and then went on with our lives. Last week, low and behold the rear end broke while driving. The same problem we asked them to look at 3 weeks ago. They then asked for $2,500 - $3,00

AJ's. 1st time was good. 2nd time they had to pull it out after I re-installed it. Got the vehicle back and it wasn't right. I pulled the transmission and found the input shaft broken. Took it back and they fixed it. My 3rd transmission supplied all the parts. These were after market high quality parts from BDS. I installed a Suncoast triple disc heavy duty torque converter. I paid AJ's 2k to rebuild. I got less than 5k miles on that rebuild. Total of 5k to 6k down the drain. I do not recommend AJ's transmissions...
