A Star Smog Check

Absolutely horrendous. Dishonest. Liars. They over charged me for a basic smog. Then gave me $25 discount for my second visit. I gave it to my dad and they over charged him and only gave him $10 discount bringing total to normal cost. We asked him to honor the discount they started giving attitude. Don’t go there

Not trying to say they scam or lie. But they seemed the most expensive.. for cash only transaction. I get the fact that I own an older vehicle should not demand the cost of the service be so expensive. To the fact it would cost more for the test than the cost to register the car @ 136. It was explained that the test was almost double that cost...so I said no thanks as I hope you will too

Quick service, was in & out in 15-20 mins. Very professional. Highly recommended

They charge 60$ for the test + 8$ for the certificate. If your car doesn’t pass because of minor things like the cars system not being ready they will charge you the 60$. And then charge you 40$ to retest plus the 8$ for the certificate. This place is pretty expensive. There are some places that do not charge for the retest so look into it before going. Or you’ll end up paying over 100$ for a smog test. The man was pretty fast with the test but was not friendly at all. Was rude. Ignored us when we asked him a question and seemed bother by us being there. Also, if you do go, Make sure to go early because they don’t go off of the hours on google. They like to close earlier than the schedule times. 30mins to 1 hour early.

It's not $36.99 on the weekends. Says in small print on the coupon you have to click on to even see it. He didn't mention it was going to be $78.00 before doing the smog. Guess it's my fault. Didn't know you had use a coupon. It looks like the advertised price on google. Only reason people come in is because of the advertised price of "cheapest smog in town". Read the small print people. He doesn't warn you
