A to Z Auto Repair

I had a very disappointing experience with A‑Z Auto Repair and would not recommend them based on how this situation was handled. I paid $1,100 for a full front and rear brake job, and only about 3 months later, the car began making loud squealing noises. I called A-Z Auto Repair at that point and was told they would not warranty the brakes. Because of the noise and safety concern, I took the car to another shop. That shop informed me that the front brakes needed to be fully replaced and that there was nothing they could do to repair or adjust them. I then had to spend an additional $700 to replace the brakes again. I've ony put 4000 miles on my car--brakes should not fail in that short of a time frame! Drove my 2020 jeep 130,000 miles before I needed new brakes and rotors for the first time ever. Had the brakes and rotors done by A-Z … six months later , not even 10,000 miles driven needs brakes and rotors again. Makes no sense to me. I am not hard on my brakes, otherwise how did I drive 130,000 miles before I ever needed these parts replaced. Makes me question the quality of the parts being used. Or what was even done to my vehicle. The shop did offer to warranty out the parts, and charge me for labor only. “Only 100” for labor. 100 is a lot for a single mom of 3! It’s not “only” 100 especially when I put in a few 1000 six months prior….

Several weeks ago I took my 2014 Mini to the shop to check on what I thought was an exhaust problem. Phil got me right in, and called me back within an hour to tell me what their road test and inspection showed which thankfully was that there was nothing wrong. Could have said anything to me and I would have believed it. And for the simple inspection they didn't charge me. This was the good news. Now for the not so good news. I brought my car in here the other day (did not deal with Phil this time) as my heater was not working. I had diagnosed it as needing a new blower motor and blower motor resistor. The staff and service at A to Z are phenomenal. I have taken my truck here a few times for oil changes and repairs. They get the job done and do it well, are transparent about diagnostics and the cost of the repair before doing the work, and charge a fair rate for their excellent service. This shop is a cut above the rest. I highly recommend them!

We were forced to make an emergency stop driving across country. These fine gentlemen diagnosed our issue and had us back on the road all before opening the shop. Such amazing service. Look nowhere else these are your forever mechanics!
