A1 Auto Tech

Brad and all the guys at A-1 Auto Tech in Newington have done an outstanding job on my 2001 Dodge. As a college kid it is important to me that I have a reliable form of transportation. My truck had been having transmission issues for almost a year, and 2 previous shops could not figure out the issue. These guys have not only taken a large amount of time but have also put forth a lot of effort to figure out the leading issue. They have been very quick to get to the truck and have also communicated very well about any issues found with it. I would recommend anyone to take their vehicle to A-1 Auto Tech no matter how far you may be. This is the most honest mechanic you'll probably ever come across. First of all he fixed my broken air-conditioning very quickly. I had taken it elsewhere and it took forever to get my car back, so I was very pleased that it only took a day with A1. There was also an issue which I won't get into, but he handled it better than any grown-up and certainly any mechanic that I've come across in a long time. I'm very grateful and impressed. So if you've ever doubted your mechanic, please bring your car to A1.

I can’t say enough good things about A1, but if you are looking for a quality shop that stands behind their work, A1 is the place. Brad has been doing all the work on my vehicles for the last couple years and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He has worked on my wife’s truck and my daughter’s Jeep numerous times but, it’s never been for the same problem he had fixed earlier. He has also worked on my son’s truck, but it’s a Chevy, so it doesn’t need a mechanic as much lol. I have NEVER had to take one of my vehicles back to A1 for something they have worked on. Just recently A1 has taken our 65 Mustang from not running to purring like a kitten for, in my opinion, a very reasonable price. Please if you need something, give them a shot.

By far the best experience I’ve had with an automotive repair center - I can’t stress enough their dedication and excellence. Both Brad and John couldn’t have been better. I sent them a very complex problem with a BMW 335i and they solved it. They used high quality parts and additionally fixed other problems that were not in the original quote at no extra charge. There was a glitch the second day I drove the vehicle which did not surprise me given the extensive nature of the repairs. Brad drove 2 hours to my home on a Saturday to check it out. He took the car back to his shop, found the problem and fixed it, again at no extra charge. He provided a loaner car while fixing this not unexpected problem.
