I always try to support small and local businesses, so I went to A1 Tire Shop in Tracy on November 19 to replace a tire on my van. Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. While working on my vehicle, their employee broke one of my lug nuts and only informed me after the bill was paid, blaming it on rust. The employee and the staff member at the counter were polite and told me to buy a replacement lug nut and they would install it for free. I bought the lug nut the same day and returned the next evening, even skipping work because it is unsafe to drive with a missing lug nut. This time I met the owner, who told me it would cost $50. A1 really came through for me on a Sunday evening when I noticed my front tire nearly flattened. The girl I spoke with was super nice and very helpful. If you find yourself needing a tire or a fix this is a good shop with honest people and great prices.
