**** UPDATE **** Final update, we took it to Aamco, had it properly diagnosed and it does need a new transmission. We sent the information to Eli, but have not heard back yet. We understand that buying a vehicle from a “Buy Here, Pay Here” lot can be risky. But, when the dealer tells you he has his mechanic look at it to make sure it’s sellable and that we were getting a quality vehicle, and then 10 days later we have to replace the entire transmission, that’s not right. The fact that the problem codes were cleared before we purchased it, and the dealer said he drove it for weeks before he sold it, tells us that he did not have his mechanic look at it before he sold it to us. Eli & Randy are great guys! When I came here I was a little cautious because I read a few angry reviews, but don’t believe any of them. I’m telling you this first hand, Eli & Randy are good guys. Be upfront, be honest with them and they’ll take care of you! Almost a month later, and my f150 is still going strong and I’ve taken it to get inspected by other shops & by every standard I have a decent truck! None of that ‘lemon’ stuff you see people talking about—those few people are projecting their own problems and it allllmost had me miss out on a great truck! Thanks Eli, thank you Randy. They take a low (no) pressure sales approach and are open about the condition of their vehicles. They have a great selection and extremely competitive prices, and we looked from Apopka to Tampa!
