Through the years of many cars I searched for a mechanic who was willing to go the extra mile of fixing the car instead of junking it. Always disappointed. Then I met AAA American through a referral from AAA.Dustin has kept my 2000 Ford Ranger running. No job has been too hard for him. Kim has excellent customer service skills. I love this family shop. I have been coming here for years with my cars. They were originally recommended by a neighbor when I lived closer to them and I never stopped going. We moved 15 mins away and I continued to go. They're super trusting , honest and don't take your money and run which is super important when you're dealing with a mechanic. I recently had my 2019 Nissan serviced at AAA American Automotive of Sunrise to replace the alternator and belt tensioner, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Kim kept me updated throughout the entire process and made sure I understood everything that was being done. The team went above and beyond to help me and truly had my best interest at heart. They noticed I was missing clips that cover my wheel and added them at no extra charge. They also pointed out a few other issues with my car so I can get ahead of them before they become bigger problems. Everyone was honest, transparent, and willing to work with me when I had concerns. Kimberly and Dustin are great! My car is pretty old and needs a bit of maintenance but every time I take my car to them they always do an amazing job with my car and are honest and straightforward. If anyone needs a good mechanic I definitely recommend these guys!

I would highly recommend American Automotive of Sunrise for their great service and reasonable prices. Dustin and Kim are honest, friendly and very helpful. They repaired my vehicle and it runs better then before I brought it in. Dustin replaced the heavy subframe which had to come from Atlanta and redid the alignment. He was very meticulous and thorough making sure my car was safe to drive. The work was time consuming and labor intensive, they were transparent about the price and explained what was involved. Knowing I had numerous appointments and no car, Dustin and Kim picked up the part when it arrived, worked all day till late evening so I could have my vehicle back the next day and the car drives great.
