AAA North Riverside Car Care Plus

I brought my vehicle to AAA at the Riverside and Aurora locations after my battery died. I paid for multiple repairs and replacements that staff recommended, trusting their diagnosis. Despite this, the battery warning light is still flashing, meaning the original issue was never fixed. I repeatedly provided video evidence of the warning light, but my concerns were dismissed and no clear explanation was given. I was never informed of potential engine damage or ongoing mechanical risk. I transport two children under 10, and my vehicle remains unsafe to drive. This was not a minor inconvenience—it was a serious safety failure. I paid for repairs that did not resolve the problem and left my family at continued risk. Extremely disappointed and would not trust AAA with critical vehicle safety

The staff treated me like a neighbor, not just another customer.They explained everything in plain language, gave me HONEST recommendations and didn't push any extra work. I took my car in the shop due to needing a throttle body replacement. They also found out my wires been chewed by a rodnet smh. The price was fair and its clear they care about taking care of people in the community.My car has been running smoothly ever since. I came in this morning for my scheduled 8:00 a.m. oil change appointment, but unfortunately all of the systems were down (internet). I was told I may need to reschedule or come back another day. This was frustrating since it was already the second time my appointment had been changed. However, Charles truly turned the situation around. He recognized that I am a regular customer and told the service representative to write my information down. He personally made sure my car was pulled in and that my oil change was completed despite the system issues. All honesty-I haven’t always preferred this location in the past, but because of Charles, my experience was completely different. This AAA team here is a warm beam of light on a cold sad day. We just lost my mother in-law and this AAA team had to us our car was gone too. We incurred irreparable damage caused by the flash flood Jan 8 in Western Springs. I highly recommend this AAA Club. I really like the customer service Charles Johnson helped me was very nice and respectful and the seating area was even comfortable while I waited on my vehicle to be serviced I will definitely be coming back for sure !!
