I've done business with AABCO since 1983. I believe the son now owns the business. They aren't just a store to sell you an alternator, they build/rebuild them in house. They "know them inside and out". You get a quality part without the big chain markup.

Long story short, they gave me the wrong battery twice despite having my core right in front of them. I was pissed that I had to take an hour out of my day to drive all the way back and thought the terminals on the rebuilt looked like they were filed down by a five year old so I wasn't really trusting the product anyway. Asked for a refund and he couldn't get a refund back on my card so he said he'd have to give me cash. He then comes up about $3 short (I assume he just doesn't have the correct change, it's not a HUGE deal, but he didn't even acknowledge it which I was very put off by). I'll get a brand new one with a better warranty from Costco for only about $40 more. ✌️

We went to this place for an alternator. It was 610.00 with a one year warranty. When we got our car back it would not get over 40 mph or go in reverse. We took it back the next day. We have been calling and going to them for the last 2 weeks and they still refuse to help us. I feel we were robbed of our hard earn money and that they wanted to make a fast dollar. I feel like they deliberately messed up your car.

Rebuilt my old Chevy Tracker alternator in a matter of hours. I was Leary about the cost to rebuild @ first. But, it was definitively worth it! They replaced the needed part with higher quality parts than the original alternator. These guys really know there stuff and they have great prices used battery’s also!🔥

As of today's business, mid-sized vehicles are much more in need of electrical servicing. When a company with these reusable items, most of those vehicle's shortages might not seem so difficult.
