This shop is THE trusted place to take your vehicle. Had my catalytic converter stolen, brought my car in to AAMCO and was pleasantly surprised to have great customer service and a wonderful sense of comfort knowing my vehicle was in good hands. I even picked up the vehicle, drove it all the way home, felt unsure, brought it back to the shop immediately and John put all my worries at ease. JOHN IS THE FREAKIN MAN! I’m glad I can rest easy now knowing what shop I can trust to take my car to.

So, this place is full of scam artists. Get a 2nd opinion. To start they kept my car for a week, just for a transmission diagnosis after telling me it would take 1 day. They charged me for that diagnosis despite us being out a vehicle, missed work hours due to not completing on time. Once it was "diagnosed" I was told I needed a whole new transmission and that it would cost $5,000. When I informed them I was taking the car elsewhere they tried to drop the price to $3500. Upon picking up my car, I discovered they went through over half a tank of gas, for what idk. At that point we still went with the other shop who quoted us $3000 for a full transmission rebuild. Mike is a hands-on owner that has been in business for a long time, taking over for his father and really gives you a nice impression. Jack and John run the office at both locations, but you’ll find them attending to everything too. They are good at communicating the progress of your vehicle with a thorough understanding and detailed explanation of recommended repairs. And, the mechanics are top notch with too many to mention. If your looking for a great mechanic and auto repair shop, this is the place to go. We had a complex wiring issue & ignition problem going on with our truck that caused us to get stuck & need roadside assistance on more than one occasion. After having tried another mechanic previously who could not repair it properly we took it to Mike at Aamco . He was very thorough and knowledgeable. We told him we had a tight budget and he kept us informed the whole time before starting any repairs. He went above and beyond figuring out the problem. So much so that he fixed another problem we had with some vents not working in the back and the controls for them. We hope to not have any more vehicle issues anytime soon but if we do we know we've found a trustworthy, knowledgeable mechanic & shop!
