AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I recently discovered Mike and his guys at Aamco of Colorado Springs as I am new to the area. Omg! What a great find! Old school customer service and integrity! Mike diagnosed my truck spot on, and suggested a service and a simple fix as opposed to going straight to selling me a new transmission! Mike has the ability to describe technical things in layman's terms and while doing so makes you feel like you are a family member! He went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and even Transportation needs! I am the car enthusiast like Mike and really appreciate his attention to detail. But one of the things that really got me was being able to watch him close shop at the end of the day and thank each employee of his individually as they left. A true and genuine gentleman!!

I have a really hard time finding a shop to work on this truck because of this size. It won’t fit in most bays. I need this truck daily for work and it blew out a spark plug on me. The owner Mike heard my situation and got his tow truck there in under 30 minutes. It cost $120, that tow usually cost atleast $250 with these box trucks. They then got busy the very next day, dropping other projects to get mine done. Truck broke down and I was back on the road in 36 hours. Rethreaded the spark plug back in the cylinder and I’m rolling again. Thanks Mike!

My experience with AAMCO was great. Mike and the team were able to find a replacement transmission for my 2001 Volkswagen Golf and get my car back on the road in just a couple of weeks. They were very understanding of my situation and made sure I was happy with their service. After the repair, an additional problem related to the speedometer came up. They were able to find and fix the issue overnight without charging me! I highly recommend going to AAMCO for transmission repairs. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and treat you right.
