AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Several years ago they took care of a 2000 Chrysler van and went out of there way to get done before we took our daughter back to college in Canada. It was done with excellent work and kept the van for several trouble free years.When my 2012 Journey wouldn't lock in park it was the best choice. They fixed the Journey and was very honest with cost and did another excellent job with the transmission and I'm confident I'll have several trouble free miles in the future. I have heard from my mechanic that they hear they have a great staff and care about the quality of there work. A good choice

AAMCO took the time to properly diagnose the issue with my transmission and was able to point out some potential issues. The work they did was quick, affordable and done right the first time. Best of all, it comes with a solid warranty. I cannot speak highly enough of these guys!

I truly wish I could give a higher rating, because the actual work on my car was done well. Unfortunately, the customer service and communication were so poor that I can’t overlook the overall experience. This situation began the week of Christmas. My warranty company approved AAMCO to diagnose and repair my transmission and brake issues. I was told that if I brought my car in on Monday, it would be diagnosed Tuesday before the shop closed for Christmas Eve and wouldn’t reopen until the following Monday. Based on that information, I rushed to get my car there on Monday. The car sat all day Tuesday untouched. When I called, I was then told it wouldn’t be diagnosed until after Christmas (Thursday). Because the vehicle hadn’t been diagnosed, my warranty company could not approve a rental—so

The guys there were great to work with. They were very patient as we figured out how we were going to pay for the work we needed done. They stuck to the estimate they gave us even though the truck needed more done than what was thought. They completed the work faster than we thought it would get done. I have always had great service from them and will continue to use them.

I've had AAMCO replace both the transmission and transfer case on my 2003 Tahoe, and both times I thought the price was more than fair, and their service was great. Nice crew. I will definitely be a return customer.
