AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

Not pleased . Honestly at first things seemed great , the owner helped me apply for immediate funding , so I’m thinking okay cool . I came in because I could hear my car having issues shifting / downshifting , my backup camera was glitching out constantly , my service AWD light was on , and I had a bunch of module issues of loss communication plus one code which was P0471 . They “checked it” , recommended I get a new transmission , ordered the transmission and did the swap in 2 days tops . I should have known better then to not get a second opinion . But I just wanted my car fixed so I didn’t care as long as it got the job done . After the swap I immediately noticed I had all the same issues plus I was now having a loss of throttle . And I have the code U100 and U101 which mean loss of co

My husband brought his car there today to get the transmission drained and filled. THEY DID NOTHING! He got there at 7am (they opened at 8am) car sat there until 10am, just for mechanic to drive the car around the block and tell him they couldn’t do anything. First desk lady was nice and understood what needed to be done but the mechanic refused to service. Complete waste of time for this to be a Transmission shop but can’t work on the transmission….

Allen was so professional and helpful. His communication in regarding my car was awesome. I highly recommend his shop.

So THANKFUL for this place. Unexpected circumstances ended me up at this place. They took great care of me & my car. Able to answer all questions, no matter how many times I called. Car was done quicker than the estimated time they gave me. Also their sense of humor definitely makes you feel more at eased. Huge to thanks to everyone in this shop, not sure the people’s names who worked on my car but Dion & Margie made this process smooth & reassuring for me. I cant thank you guys enough.

Had my vehicle repaired at AAMCO and the Manager Dion was a great guy from the beginning. Very upfront and helped out a great deal. Was excited and appreciative with what they done for me at AAMCO.
