I had my transmission rebuilt at AAMCO Transmission in Ypsilanti, MI, for my 2020 Ford Escape and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the service was professional, honest, and thorough. Keith was especially helpful — he took the time to explain everything clearly, kept me updated throughout the process, and made sure I felt confident in the work being done. It’s rare to find someone so knowledgeable and customer-focused in this industry. My car now runs perfectly, the quality of the work speaks for itself, and it was all done in a very timely fashion. Couldn’t be happier with my experience with AAMCO Transmission. I blew o the transmission in my F-150. I had it towed there on Monday afternoon, just a couple hours later I had a phone call from Mike that updated me on what was going on with my truck and an estimate for repairs. The next day he called with an update on the price and to confirm I wanted them to proceed with the repairs (and to be certain I was willing to spend that much money to have the truck repaired. On Tuesday morning, I was happy to hear that he expected they would be done with everything on Friday. To my surprise, I got a call on Thursday morning. When I saw the number I was afraid there was going to be more charges or that they ran into a problem—but that was not the case—he was calling to let me know the truck

I would recommend them to anyone! Great prices. Quick turnaround and very polite people. I’ve never been there before and I was completely impressed. Came in with an engine overheating. I will send people to them and go there again myself.

I was informed by the Subaru dealer that my car needed trans pan replacement and told by Keith to bring it in for a diagnostic evaluation. He took 1 look at the picture from the dealer and told me it was nothing since I had no other issues with leakage, fluid lights, etc. He even said the next time I need an oil change he would do a full inspection for peace of mind. I am so grateful for honest Keith-the world needs more people like you!!!
