We had the BEST experience with Absolute Auto & Diesel in Grain Valley! Our son needed tires mounted and had a really hard time finding a shop willing to help. From the very first call, Absolute Auto & Diesel was a breath of fresh air. They answered right away, were incredibly kind, and got us scheduled at a time that worked perfectly for us. They were fast, professional, and genuinely caring, and their prices were extremely reasonable, truly unmatched. As small business owners ourselves, we especially love supporting other local, family-run businesses that clearly care about their customers. We are so grateful we found them and will absolutely be using Absolute Auto & Diesel for all of our future car care needs. Highly recommend!

Went to this shop based off of a recommendation from a neighbor, and am glad I did. Very fair and honest pricing and was able to squeeze me in way before anyone else would’ve been able to. Highly recommend!!

New owners are awesome. I came in with no appointment while the place was busy and Shawn stopped what he was doing and spent time diagnosing my pickup. After 10-15 minutes of me telling him what I thought was wrong he said he wanted to try something that he felt was the cause of the problem. He didn’t want to charge me for the 45 minutes of his time. He told me to drive it around and let him know if the problem came back. It never did. A week later I had a totally separate problem when a fuel line connection failed and had it towed to him. Many mechanics would’ve charged an outrageous amount and would’ve told me anything they wanted after fixing a small problem. Shawn was honest and quick knowing it’s how I make my money. Great business and great service!

Need to update this since new ownership. Let me start with the good: it was fast. They called me right when my cars were done and they were able to do 2 oil changes back to back. Now the not so good. No air pressure checks were done on the tires, fluids weren't checked, washer fluid wasn't filled, maintenance light wasn't reset. Basic things that I understand are simple, but if you're going to charge $70 and $80 for oil changes, please at least do the bare minimum. I had to double check my phone number and information at check in, no questions were asked and no information about price or services were given. When checking out, they had technical issues with their computer. This is a far cry from when Sam had ownership. I'm disappointed that such a great local shop isn't being handled well
