This was my first time here. The AC in my car was not as cold as it used to be (it still blew cool air, just not cold air) so I brought my car in to get a refrigerant recharge. The mechanic proceeds to remove the cap from the low-side pressure port and jam his ball point pen in which released a bunch of pressure from the system, not once, but twice. He then tells me the pressure in the system is low. He pulls my car into a bay to inspect it further and tells me the pressure is low because there is a leak in the system and that I need a new condenser + line and that he can't just add refrigerant. I have been using Ace since 2008. Owner Andy Kwon is the most honest mechanic I've ever done business with. Never tries to sell unnecessary repairs. Never overcharges. In fact, tells you not to fix or wait longer if not needed. I trust him so much that when I drop off my car, my order is 'please check and fix whatever you see fit and just bill me later.' Even then, if the bill is going to be a bit pricey he always calls me to check if he should proceed.
