Action Auto Care

Robert and Action Auto Care are fantastic! I needed my rear brakes fixed, plus a few other things that Nissan quoted were essential to be replaced. Nissan quoted me nearly $4K, so I decided to take my car to Action Auto Care instead. Robert was so transparent and communicative--he even did his own assessment of my vehicle and communicated what actual fixes were necessary, and it was not what Nissan listed. My car is now in great condition and received the care it needed for half the price! I'm relieved to have found a trusted mechanic who provides quality and transparent care to customers. I highly recommend Robert and his team at Action Auto Care!

Robert & team are so kind, and their work is super affordable. They don't try to upsell and are incredibly thorough. Robert even helped me think through whether a repair made sense for my ancient car (and recommended no!). Can't recommend this shop enough!

Robert Kim and Action Auto Care were recommended to me when I first moved to the US 23 years ago. I've taken cars there ever since, and have benefited immensely from Robert's knowledge, patience, fairness, and way of explaining things. Since I'm not at all mechanically minded, there have been numerous times when I've relied on his guidance to make a good decision on repairs, or keeping or selling a car. He's now offering the same guidance to my son, going so far as to steer him on repairs he wanted to do himself. Robert is an incredible asset to the Potrero Hill community and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for car-related matters, even if I have to drive across town these days for Action Auto Care. They're the best!

Took my Subaru for standard 6k maintenance. The workers were professional, efficient, and honest. Significantly better pricing than the dealerships too. I’ll be coming back for future service.
