Acura of Sherman Oaks Service Center

I have to argue with the service department every time I go for them to honor my tire and rims warranty. They claim that I have to call and deal with the warranty on my own while the warranty people and the salesperson at the dealer told me that the service department can handle everything. I went 3 times to deal with a tire that they kept knowingly doing a temporary fix by plugging it. The last time they told me I have to go to a tire shop to fix it. I didn't realize that it takes a specialized technician to properly fix or order a new tire. I paid good money for the warranty and I didn't expect such a horrible experience trying to utilize it. It's like the only people that know how to do their job there are the salesmen. I went to a different lithia dealer and they ordered me a new tire

Service Advisor JOEY was excellent. He patiently heard my concerns and helped get the repairs covered by the extended warranty. He kept me informed and was honest throughout the experience. Thank You!!

Great personable skills with a friendly smile. My only suggestion is to let customers know DURING the service if additional issues are found, so they have the option to address them then. It was a surprise to learn about extra work afterward and now have to book another service appointment. It's not always easy to navigate this traffic so clustering appointments is always preferred. Nevertheless, I'd still bring my car back every time! Thank you!
