Advance Auto Parts

I’ve been here several times in the last few weeks and interacted with a different member of the staff each time with a number of different needs and requests. Each individual member of the team was incredibly attentive, communicative, and helpful; that type of service is why you return to a business, and this place has that service!

I had a horrible experience dealing with Advance Auto Parts. I came here yesterday to purchase an OBD2 scanner with live data reading, which they keep behind the counter. It was $70 which is a bit steep, but I wanted it then and there so didn't mind paying extra. I didn't get a chance to inspect the box because it was kept behind the counter, so upon returning home I looked and saw that the OBD2 scanner I had purchased did not feature live scanning. I promptly returned about half an hour after purchasing the scanner, and the man there informed me that he could not approve a return without a manager present. Used to be a really great place, they were all about helping you — you have a problem with battery or wipers or anything else, they were there to help. Went today, guy said “bro, not today — it’s cold, you can ask someone else”.

My go-to neighborhood Auto parts store. Staff is helpful and offer cost saving suggestions when I've been working on my own car repairs. Will always go to them first over other stores plus its in walking distance to my home.

Late 2025 edit: I don't know what happened to this place but the last time I was in there they were not friendly or helpful. I didn't see a single employee in there that I recognized. Turnover must be insane. Like this five-star review that turned over to a one star. :-(
