I stopped in to buy a new rear wiper blade for my GMC Terrain. Unfortunately, the store did not carry the model that I needed. However, store employees Ray and Bob provided excellent customer service! They did all that they could do assist me, even going as far as searching for my special model to minimize my scavenger hunt. I would definitely recommend stopping in to this location.

3 trips because all the parts sold to us was wrong. Won't recommend this auto supplier to anyone ever again. We tried meticulously to pinpoint the car and the counter guy refused to listen (even went outside himself to look) and just picked at random ensuring us he was right. Spent 10 minutes in another part store and got everything correct first try, either step up or shut down.

I have been coming to this advanced auto since I got my license, so well over 15 years. Always have had a great experience, but this evening I had an amazing experience thanks to two great employees, Connor and Carl. They helped me find the correct LED headlights for my truck. Were patient enough well it took me at least 10 minutes to get my three gift cards to come up online. And then even made sure to inform me of the $20 rebates I received for purchasing the headlights. Absolutely the kind of customer service and general friendliness that keeps someone like myself coming back to , one store even though I have moved multiple times over the 15 years I will always make the drive to the Woodhaven Advanced auto !! I went to the Brownstown location and Bob the general manager was an absolute angel! I’m a single mom and my driver side windshield wiper came off. After 30 minutes of YouTube videos and trying to put it on myself during the snowstorm, I drove over to the Brownstown location and Bob came out to try to put the wiper back on. However an important piece broke off and not only did he replace it FOR FREE but also put the new one on while me and my child warmed up in the store. I was low on funds and offered to keep my drivers license till I ran to the bank but he graciously declined. Thank you so much Bob, you don’t know how much this small act of kindness means to me. I wish you nothing but the best in 2026!

I purchased a battery at another Advance Auto location, but they could not remove the old one. I figured I’d try to see if this location could take a look. Bob was amazing. It took some extra effort to do the swap, and he did it with a smile on his face. Bob was kind, humorous, and very knowledgeable. This is definitely my new go-to location.
