I have to give a 6-star shout out to the team working in the Advanced Auto store at 10529 Clayton Blvd., Clayton NC 27520. Today is the second time in as many years the people there diagnosed a car's electrical system and in so doing determined and fixed my problem. This time I was headed to the dealership to moan about what they likely messed up on my car a couple weeks previous. On my way I decided to stop at Advanced Auto first so I would be armed with some details when arriving at the dealership. Instead, they found the issue, fixed it, and charged me nothing even though I stated they should charge me something. Thank you. Great job!

The AAA tow truck driver recommended we take the car here to get a free battery check. We did. It was quick and the sales associate was quick, knowledgeable, and friendly. A new battery with three-year warranty was installed and we were on our way home in no time. Josh gets five stars for being so professional and excellent at his job.

I stopped by after noticing one of my front headlights went out. The gentlemen that assisted me easily explained the differences between lowbeam and high beam lights, factory vs better performance bulbs, and recommended discounts and ways to access coupons. Great experience for sure!

EXTREMELY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE Bought a Die Hard battery less than a year ago from the store on 1010 in Garner, and last night realized that my battery wouldn't hold a charge, so I had someone follow me to the Clayton store to swap out my battery since I was well under the 3 year free replacement. When they tried to pull me up on their system they couldn't find my info from my purchase from 1010, so I was forced to go ahead and pay $279 until I could return with my proof of purchase. Went home and found the receipt in my tax files, so I just returned there today to get my refund of what I shouldn't have had to pay to begin with.
