Advance Auto Parts

Just went in waited in line behind 1 customer while the employee chatted about something irrelevant to auto parts. As that customer was leaving, the employees phone rang and he answered it and another conversation with with someone unrelated to auto part sales. Leaving me standing there even longer. How unprofessional. Auto zone right across the street.... Here I come............*update*.... At AutoZone......I was greeted within seconds of walking in the door with "can I help you". Purchased my water pump and was out the door quickly.

I have never been treated in such a God awful manner until I walked into this store. I was just trying to get a replacement part under warranty and the parts person got upset about my mechanics diagnosis and told me to leave "his store"

I went to this Lumberton store trying to exchange a defective part. The person who helped me was angry and implied it was due to a mechanic's poor installation. I told him I could exchange it for a new one or give him my money back. I explained that other parts of my car were damaged because of that part, to which he replied angrily that there was no warranty, only for the part they sold me. I said okay, then I asked if there was any way to get a discount or some compensation for the damage. The person became even more angry, so I asked if I could speak to a supervisor. Extremely angry, he said, "I'm the assistant, and I'm not going to exchange anything for you. Get out of here!" He threw the part on the counter and kicked me out of the store. Great store with kind workers. They let us have a car sash and donated the cleaning supplies and water. They were helpful when we went in and bought some items as well.

I went to this store because I needed a battery for my car. The salesman admitted he was to lazy to look for the battery I wanted and sold me a lesser battery for the same price. I really needed my car but I Wil not use advance auto for nothing in the future. I know my money means nothing to a corporation like this but customer service means a lot to me and I work too hard for my money to get treated like I don't matter.
