This place is a nightmare and a total rip-off. They’ll sell you the wrong part, tell you it fits your car, and then act like you’re the idiot when it obviously doesn’t. Try to return it and good luck. If you don’t have a receipt (why save a receipt for a part you're going to use anyway? You don't), they won’t give you a refund or even store credit, even though their own website clearly promises it. They’ll claim it’s “not in the system,” as if it’s your fault their staff sold you junk and never asked for a phone number to BE PUT IN THE SYSTEM to begin with. The arrogance, the incompetence, the complete disregard for customers is typical for these cocky franchises. Every time I buy auto parts now, it’s Amazon or eBay. You could write something like this if you're planning to post or send a complaint: "I’ve been standing in line for over 20 minutes and not a single employee has helped anyone. I called the store while I was inside—got put on hold, and then they just walked away. This photo speaks for itself. Zero urgency, zero communication. If this is the level of customer service Advance Auto Parts is offering, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Unacceptable."
The staff members are not helpful and they are rude. I entered the store at 5 PM and went directly to the order pick up section, nobody was there and none of the seven employees that saw me said hello to me, that is the worst part, when they see a customer but they don’t want to help. While I was making the other line, I saw the so-called manager giving attitude and being rude to a customer giving her more problems instead of solutions A guy named Jimmy, the manager and the employees in the back of the store including a senior lady with glasses. They are not helpful or courteous at all. I would say “disappointing” experience every time I have to pick up from this store, but I am already used to it Choosing the AutoZone a few blocks away next time
TL;DR: I blew a fuse for my car’s cigarette lighter and needed help locating the correct fuse box and replacement fuse. The store staff were dismissive and unhelpful at every step. I eventually figured things out on my own, but they didn’t assist with tools, fuse identification, or checking inventory. Overall, it was a very poor customer service experience, and I likely won’t return. --- I’ll preface this by saying I don’t know much about cars, so when I blew the fuse for my cigarette lighter, I was unsure where to start. My car has three possible fuse box locations, and Google gave me conflicting answers.
