I just bought my second battery from this business that is under the new name Competitive Edge Distributing. It was recommended to my by my brother as a place with quality batteries at a great price. I was hesitant at first because I didn't recognize the brand names, but they offer a two year warrant on their batteries and the first one lasted me 5+ years. I got great customer service from Steve and he thanked me for my military service after I inquired about a discount.

For a company that just does one thing, they sure are awful at doing it. For 2 years i put up with them delivering the wrong batteries to our shop, several days later than they said they would, and then randomly charging me for those purchases 6-8 weeks later. Over and over again. The route manager was the nicest guy who tried really hard but he was always put in an awkward position by the company's stupidity. Now I buy our batteries on ebay for 30% less, get better product and surprisingly stellar customer service from a company 2500 miles away.

Fantastic experience with Stephanie and Joe buying two deep cycle batteries for a man lift. Lift previously had Interstate batteries installed and one of them developed a "bubble" on top and Interstate wouldn't warranty the batteries but offered to sell me new ones for 340.00/each. Seriously?? Yea, these held up so well lets buy two more??? Anyhow, Stephanie at Advanced Battery got me taken care of for less than half of what Interstate wanted for the exact same spec battery. Seriously give Stephanie a call with your battery needs and I guarantee you she will take care of you. Kudos to Advanced for hiring fantastic personnel.

"Absolute best deals in San Antonio" because they sell USED batteries as NEW and then tell you you're out of luck when your "new" battery doesn't work after two weeks. Buyer beware, these are some really dirty people.

I've been dealing with these folks ever since 2013 and I have gotten some great batteries they're honest hard-working people that value their customer.
