Advantage Lifts

I love my USA made 9000 xlt. My only complaint was the secondary lock lever spot welds. I had one of the levers come off during the installation process due to the poor spot welds. I went back and perimeter welded the shaft to arm to insure performance. Still 100% happy.

Had to wait months past my original ship date. When it finally showed up there were rusted and corroded parts, no instruction manual and missing parts. Most of the time they take weeks if not months to even answer my emails. They said they would send all missing and bad parts out. 6 months later I am still waiting, supposedly they will ship soon. I've never received a manual except digital, not very good to work off of. I would not buy from this company

I had a similar experience to Mark Miller's review from a month ago. I ordered a seal kit for my lift and when it arrived one seal was the wrong size and it was missing another seal. For the price they are charging for these ($150 shipped) I expect near perfection and this is far from it. Since I didn't get any response to my emails about the problem I ended up ordering seals from another vendor for just a few dollars each and am back up and running. I eventually called them to request a partial refund since the kit was incomplete and incorrect. They required me to send the original seal kit back. Since I had already use one seal and the split ring I was not about to tear apart the lift again to do that. Not a good experience at all. UPDATE: I see the owner has replied to this review sugg

About a year after the lift was installed, I contacted Advantage about the sudden change in the cables, excessively drooping/slacking. After back and forth with someone on the phone, and emails, they came out to inspect the lift. They said it was a faulty valve in the motor, but had to come back to replace it. When they came back, they replaced it, but the problem still persisted. The best part was I was charged a fee for this "repair visit" that left me in the same position as before. Avoid this company, after installation you will get no help or support.

While it took 10 1/2 months to receive my 4-post lift 11000 WD from when I ordered it (January 19), the manufacturing was shifted from China to the US. The result is a certified lift built in the US, something worth waiting for. The crew of Jonathan and Greg delivered and installed my lift were most professional. Jonathan knew what sequence the lift parts had to be assembled in and went quickly about the task assisted by Greg. They are great crew to have installing your lift and I highly recommend them. I probably could have assembled the lift myself, but as something I would be working under with a 6000 lb + vehicle, the cost vs risk was money well spent to have professionals assemble it so it was done correctly.
