Advantage Rent A Car

The agent served claims she is the manager and required me to pay for extra liability insurance for INTERNATIONAL ID which I couldn't find that regulation in their website site. Also the car I got has all scratches but most concern was very bumpy and weird noise when the car driving on freeway. There is reason for cheap price and avoid this company. The car was not washed at all.

We would have to wait for a car to come in so the price that we had paid was $150 roughly for a rental car we got there and we quoted $280 $100 fee for tires $100 fee for fuel even though it was full and we filled it up Plus a $500 deposit the car ended up costing nearly $1000 to rent when we got the car. It was filthy inside and out it. Basically the previous renter dropped the keys in the guy‘s hand and he dropped them in ours. They never check the car for oil. They never checked the brakes. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED: do NOT rent cars from Advantege. They will rip you off in a moment you are most vulnerable in a new town, requiring transportation for your family. The price you received as a quote will at least double by the time you’re done (mine went from $100 to $260). They don’t tell you this in advance (this information is berried in the fine print behind a link) but if you don’t have a paper printout of your car insurance they will require you to get $30 daily insurance. I offered to call my insurance and have them fax the info - not an option. I offered to show them digital version of my policy - again not the option. Why not Advantage? Why require paper printout? DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! As a travel agency owner trust my advice. I tried this company a few times as I like to give opportunities to businesses. I've only had bad experiences but today was horrible. The agent demanded I show my insurance policy information which I did. I have full coverage. The agent refused to accept it because she was insistent I purchase their insurance. The agent in charge got involved and canceled my reservation. The other people in line were appalled with her behavior. Her name is Vila. She was extremely rude and told me to go across the street. Of course I did and got a rental from a competitor. I will never use this company again and will make sure our travel clients and our network of airline employees never use this company.

Huge warning when using Priceline or Expedia they will give you a car rental based on price and you end up with Advantage. I called the number upon arrival and followed the prompts to get picked up. I was under the impression that I was on my way to this rental location. I had to walk with my luggage further because they are not connected with the other car rental places. Im disabled.
