I came to John L Smith and Affordable Car Rental when my car had to go into the shop to get a new engine. I was without a car for almost a month. Right away I was welcomed in at Affordable Car rental. They were so accommodating, asked me what day I got paid and that they would withdraw the weekly Payments for the rental each week on that day. They would send me a personal phone call double check with the amount and ask if it was OK to withdraw, which for being a single mother with only one income, extremely helpful. They were very helpful with any questions I had And explained everything thoroughly. They have a customer for life.

I should’ve trusted my gut and never gone back. The first time I rented here, they refunded the wrong card and gave me a complete runaround. I decided to give them another chance — huge mistake. They confirmed they had a car for me, so I paid for an Uber to get there… only to find out they didn’t have the car at all. No apology, no accountability — just wasted time and money. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

John was kind and helpful, his service was wonderful! I was driving my new car off the lot within 2 hours. Would highly recommend!
