Affordable Transmission

My 2020 Chevy Suburban’s transmission was dying end of November 2025. God a quote everywhere around Suffolk to Va Beach location and everyone were quoting me from 9-13k to possibly fix my transmission that’s on top of the “diagnostic” among all other things that they wanted me to pay for plus the schedule is a little far out. It’s during the holidays so with the price and scheduling to get my truck fixed were all stressing me out. I went to call affordable transmission and LJ answered the phone with a whole Holiday Greetings! lol I spoke to him and he was very straightforward with everything. The guy who is their main mechanic that I got to talk there was Ron and He checked my car that same week and LJ communicated to me the issues that needed fixing. They also offer a great payment plan

I had a great experience with Affordable transmission. Just before the holidays I had family drive here from MS. The day after they arrived we noticed some abnormal shifting from their Ford 3500. Nothing crazy but wasn't quite right. Affordable transmission squeezed us in their schedule to at least look at the vehicle. They understood our situation of if something was really wrong with the transmission we could be left on the side of the rode on the way out of state. They looked at the vehicle and determined nothing serious was wrong so the vehicle was good to drive all the way. It turns out they were right. I brought my 2001 Chevy Tahoe to Affordable Transmission because it wouldn’t go over 30 mph unless I put it in 3rd gear. They rebuilt the transmission and now it runs great. Knowledgeable staff, quality work, and warranty-backed repairs at affordable prices. Highly recommend!
