Called him to book an appointment and told him that the car died on the freeway. I told him that the mobile mechanic put new alternator and starter motor and that did not fix the issue. He knew instantly that it was the dead motor and very patiently told me about the next steps I should take. Very honest, respectful and helpful mechanic. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone nearby who wants to get their car fixed.

After finding this auto repair shop on Google and seeing the reviews, I decided to bring my car here. I'm happy I did! I'm always so nervous when taking my vehicle in for repairs but Akins provided excellent customer service from the very first call. I needed new struts and shocks on my car and I called in asking for a quote. I was asked to text the year, make, model and vin of my vehicle. I received a text back stating they'd look into getting the parts and text me back with a quote. You can't go wrong with Akins... top notch service at an extremely reasonable price. Akin, his brother and crew are extremely knowledgeable... and HONEST. They have been my go to for nearly a decade with my German car. No unnecessary pressure to upsell like so many others. There work is reliable and timely. The shop is well kept, with a waiting room equipped with guest wifi. I highly recommend these guys!

I called for a last-minute free brake inspection, which they were able to accommodate. I’ve been to Atkins previously for an A/C repair and had a good experience. This visit was for a brake inspection due to grinding noises. The inspection itself took about five minutes, and the worker Victor was nice and fast, which was the only good part of today’s experience. After the inspection, the owner approached me in the waiting area and explained that my brake pads were worn down and grinding against metal. He quoted approximately $420 for the front brakes and $400 for the rear brakes, stating that this was the lowest price he can go.
