Al Green Auto Mobile Repair

ZERO STARS. Overfilled my transmission, broke a piece of my vehicle and then ghosted me. Refuses to take responsibility. I have all of the evidence I need to hold him fully accountable. Stay far away from this shady so called mechanic.

I wasnt paying attention and put gas in my diesel truck. He towed my trailer and would taken the truck too but I already had somebody getting the truck. We hung out at the shop and he got the truck running again. It was a great experience overall. Al and another young man worked on the truck and they were so pleasant and I felt confident in them. Their price was fair and they worked me into their schedule, given they were already working on a project and they managed to fit us in that same day as we were on our way to Tallahassee. Thank you so much Al and the Green family.

We were on a road trip and our driver side window fell into our door. We were visiting friends in the Gainesville area, so I called Al and asked if he could help. He came out to diagnose it, but because of heavy rain he came into Gainesville the next morning to take care of the repair. Thanks to Al, we can finish the road trip knowing that our window is secure. I recommend Al to any who need mobile repairs in the Gainesville area.

DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC! I really wish there was a no star feature. In all seriousness. I called this “mechanic” to come and fix my ignition lock. He confirmed he was able to do the job. He comes by , “fixes” the issue, but now my steering wheel won’t turn properly. He comes back the next day and tells me theres a piece that needs to be purchased to fix the now issue. So he orders and I purchase it. 4 days later he comes to install. Then he tells me that’s not the piece and orders and I purchase another piece that I supposedly needed. He texts me that it came in, but he will not be able to install it for another week. When that week was up, I didn’t hear from him and had to practically hound him down and he tells me he’s coming 2 days later. That day comes and I had to hound him again as

Al answered the phone quickly. He fit us into his day without hesitation when he found out my daughter was stuck with a broken down vehicle. He communicated well throughout the process. Ran to the parts store to get the part and had it installed quickly. Fair price and worked on the car at its location. I would highly recommend.
