Al Hutchinson Auto Center

My wife and daughter found a car at Al Hutchinson Auto that they loved. Very clean looking. Tony said all the right things to make my wife comfortable about the purchase. She thought he was a sweet, wise older man. She was wrong.... On the drive home from the lot the check engine light popped on. We took it straight to a legitimate shop for testing. Tony sent my wife and daughter off the lot with thousands of dollars in repairs to the water pump, alternator battery, etc. We asked him within one business day to take the car back and he wouldn't. He said the paper work has already been filed with the DMV. They wouldn't help pay for the repairs they would just send us to their mechanic. We couldn't trust anyone affiliated with them so we took the car to ours. Tony and Al care about one thing.

Well, this review could possibly improve. During the sale Al was very responsive always answered the phone or text. Now that I have received the truck I bought from him and contacted him about some serious concerns, it has been dead silence. Al, Please answer, hopefully we can work out these problems. Thus far, the truck is not as you represented it, with safety concerns....brakes, suspension, and air conditioner does not work even though he promised it was ice cold. Hope to hear from you.

Started OK but ended poorly. I test drove a van & my mechanic looked under the hood using a flashlight for less than 5 minutes. He says without lifting it up the engine looks good except for a broken air filter case he noticed. (They did fix this...so there is one positive). When I return the salesman lectures me for having my mechanic look under the hood and he tells me you can't use kelly blue book (6000 max value) to price vehicles because its not accurate. I say we'd pay 7350. When I get to the bank for the loan they will only fund up to 6600. Evidently, everybody uses kelly blue except Al Hutchinson and his salesman Tony. He came down $100 more. I went to them after being recommended from my father-in-law. They didn't have the vehicle that I was looking for, but they showed me something better. It was right in the price range that I wanted, and had less miles on it than other cars I had viewed. The interior is perfect, and they were very helpful and knowledgeable about the jeep. There was an issue that was found right after I bought it, and they said they would replace it. It was minor, but still, I've had bad luck with car lots before. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a used car. No pressure salesmen, down to earth owner, and honest about their vehicles. They weren't pushy and weren't shady. They made things quick and easy. No stress! They are a friendly trustworthy dealership that I'd send my family to. We went to 10+ dealers looking for a car and the others tried to take us for every penny we have, but Al's prices are great to start with and made our trade in easy satisfying as well.
