This is a great local Auto Service in Albany. Locally owned and run, LGBTQ+ ally, honest fair prices, excellent customer service and time management. Dan is a fantastic reliable person. I will always come here. PHOTO: Garages & Auto Service providers tend to be hyper masculinized places with an extra dose of toxicity. I’ve had bad experiences, I’ve had good experiences. The presence of anxiety is a common theme of both type of these experiences. A very small gesture like this one goes a long way, makes a customer feel safe & welcomed. Thankful for places like this.

But Dan, Leo and Peter go over and above, even running out to rescue me when I had a bad tire incident. They are simply the best.

Dan was able to diagnose my problems immediately, and get me back on the road quickly. Since then he's replaced both sets of brakes, and taken care of all my routine services. Once Larry’s Auto closed up, I needed a place to go for general repairs for my Honda Pilot. Steve from Larry’s recommended Albany Foreign Auto and it’s a plus that it’s close to my place of business. So I gave them a try. Dan is honest, straightforward, and great to deal with. Very accommodating and their work is fantastic. You can’t ask for anything more.
