I found a car for sale on eBay. After speaking to the seller on the phone several times We made a deal to buy a 1970 chevelle. Joe Lombardi asked to complete the sale outside of eBay so he could avoid the fees so I sent a cashiers check 6/2/2024 . Joe Lombardi was fine with this. It arrived 6/6/2024 and Joe Lombardi refused delivery. Said he sold the car to someone else . Never called to tell me this and said I should have wired the money. Anyone who insists on a wire transfer instead of a cashiers check is likely a scammer and I would have been out $25000. He is doing business as bobs motor works but when you google it it comes up Alexander auto plaza at his address. Something is fishy and I should have known better. Wow best service and people around. Another shop told me my Mercedes needed $7400 worth of electrical work. They were upfront very honest with me. They found the problem in 1 hour and charged me $200 for the repair. talk about a honest shop. Nice friendly people class act.

went to look at vehicle they had on marketplace. asked for the vin number they ignored me, needed truck for 17 yo grandson, told us truck was owned by old man, husband noted the spare tire was pushed up underneath, they fixed it. Had to run home for cash, had the title folded with only the signature section visible, they were in a hurry to get home, Bob grabbed the signed title and ran out to put it in the visor of the truck. Never said a word about the title being reconstructed...got truck home it was full of the previous owners eye glasses, tobacco, etc. It was filthy inside. Just note it is the law in PA for a dealer to notify a buyer if a title is reconstructed. We are taking this truck in Monday to have it checked out by a mechanic. also advertised as a 2004, title has it as a 20

Do not buy cars from this crook. He tampers with the odometer. We bought a car that supposedly had about 72k but it actually had over 191k miles on it. The brakes were bad, the battery was dead and he spray painted a part of the car to hide a paint chip.
