Seen a few reviews and recommendations. Decided to bring my GMC to get a diagnostic. Greated by Leilani. Very friendly and welcoming. She wasn’t sure the mechanics were going to get to my truck that day as they had other appointments. I was in no rush. Got home maybe an hour later they ran the diagnostic and she called to give me the estimate. I ok’d the repair and literally an hour later the service was complete. I got to meet Josh, the mechanic. Very nice and honest!! Their customer service was on point! I told them they gained a new customer. I will be bringing my other two cars for service. Thank you Almaden Automotive, Josh and Leilani.

I had the hood supports replaced on my Toyota Camry today, and I couldn't be happier with the service! From start to finish, everything was smooth and professional. Leilani at the front desk was warm, helpful, and efficient, and the mechanic did a fantastic job—my car was ready in less than 30 minutes. To top it off, the final price was lower than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. Great service, quick turnaround, and fair pricing—what more can you ask for? I highly recommend Almaden Automotive and will definitely return for future maintenance needs.

I was visiting a friend when I had my water pump fail on me on a Saturday. (2014 f150). Stopped at a couple shops but was not feeling comfortable with the greetings. Last stop before leaving it at the dealership I came across Josh at Almaden Automotive. He took a quick look and pointed out the leak. Ended up leaving the truck with them for the repairs. Fair price and honesty made my decision easy. Not easy to come across this type of service I found out, after retiring from this field of almost 30 years. I've been a patron of Almaden Automotive since the mid 80's and, whether it was a domestic or foreign car, I've always been able to rely on them to do the job right. That's why I don't go anywhere else. John, the owner, has never let me down. In a time when it can be a challenge to find an honest mechanic, John is a shining star. It's a small shop, so you know that you can always get the personal attention that makes you feel like you're their favorite customer. The three elements that I feel are necessary for an excellent shop are honesty, quality work and fair pricing. Almaden Automotive gets 5 stars on all three. BTW, I clicked on 5 stars, but when I checked, it only showed 4.7. That's wrong. This is a 5 star shop.

Called about replacing my serpentine alternator belt quote they were able to get my car in the afternoon. Completely upfront with the price and work before going in. Did not try to upsell me anything. Everything done in under an hour. Solid auto shop. Will return for oil changed and future work.
