Had the unfortunate issue of having a transmisson issue, but Evan was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in detail. They were extremely fast even ordered the part before I had said I was going to take it here. I mean I can't thank this shop enough. They went above and beyond and did a very detailed check of my vehicle and found a couple more issues. Its hard finding a good honest shop anymore and this is most definitely an honest and genuine shop. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!!!!!

Having transmission related issues (trouble shifting gears) Was told by a mechanic in DSM that the torque converter needed replaced, and to do so, he would need to drop the transmission, etc. and quoted me approximately $3500. Went to Al's for a second opinion. And so glad I did!!! 1) Al's took me seriously and didn't treat me like I was just some stupid chick 2) Al's inspected my truck, performed tests, etc. and diagnosed the issue 3) Al's told me they could perform the suggested transmission work (approximately $2300), but didn't feel that was the problem and instead told me I needed my Tacoma reprogrammed by a Toyota dealership. 4) Al's diagnosis was SPOT ON. 5) To ensure I would be taken seriously at the dealership, Al's provided a very detailed diagnosis on their invoice for me to pro

Excellent service! They responded right away when we reached out about replacing a transmission on a 1959 panel van. Towed to their shop and fixed within a week. Wow! We appreciated all the information Danny gave us. He was thorough with explaining what was wrong, how they fixed it, and answered questions about future possible upgrades. Shop clean. Easy to find on highway 92. Plenty of parking available. Generous hours. Price was just right! They did great work.
