$460! It took them 3 hours (30 minutes of which was repairing there broken winch cable). That thing was frayed everywhere you looked at it. Constant arguing between the tow operators. Long spands of time where nothing was being done or even attempted. They were pleasant folks just didn't seem like they were in this profession very long. Oh and did I mention it was $460!

We broke down in legit the middle of nowhere Illinois almost 5 hours from home. I call Alvie’s and I’m pretty much telling them I don’t know where I am, I don’t know where I need to go, and I don’t know the cost of towing or how it works. The gentleman was so nice and helped me figure out where I was and explained everything. Then when they came to help us they let me sit in their truck in the heat because it was cold, my ride was still 2hours out, they gave us a ride to their shop, AND stayed at the shop so we had somewhere warm with a bathroom to be until our ride could arrive and get us home. Excellent tow service. A very nice and professional group of guys. When I called I spoke directly with the owner, Joe, who was kind and honest with me. They took care of us and got the car towed safely. I have seen them assist the police in the county on numerous tows, as well. It is so frustrating when your car breaks down, but Alvie's did a great job taking care of us.

Outstanding service. Very little wait time from the time I called on a holiday weekend. Very reasonable also. Good job Alfie.
