I could never say enough good things about Pete at American Apex Auto repair. He is the kind of genuinely good human being that seems to be so rare to find these days. He's always been beyond honest and generous and helpful anytime I've ever had to take any number of my cars into his shop. His pricing is beyond fair, which in and of itself is ridiculously unheard of these days. Not only has the price always been less than what I've expected, he always make sure to explain exactly what's going on and exactly what he did to fix it. The transparency you get when you go to the shop is deeply refreshing. I know there's certain things that he doesn't work on, but honestly give him a call before you go to any other shop in the area. Pete the owner has the best customer service and truly believes in lending a helping hand. American Apex Auto Repair has the best prices for quality work. I was driving and the power in my truck shut off. I got my truck to the nearest gas station. Pete arrived ten minutes after my call. Pete tested everything he could think of. Then he drove me to auto zone and back. He was willing to fix all of my trucks issues, but he was also willing to teach me and let me be hands on with the work. It was a very stressful time and Pete took a load of stress out of an unfortunate situation.

Have you ever met an angel? I did today. Travelling across country through a series of ice storms and blizzards my nervous system is admittedly worn thin. Last night I thought my serpentine belt was going out and I cut my journey short and ended up in Ontario, OR a nervous wreck. Today I called every mechanic within 50 miles of me and no one was able to offer me any help...except Pete. Not only did Pete talk with me over the phone to get all of the details, he actually drove to where my motel is, inspected my car, went on a 30 minute test drive and talked me through what he thought it could be (nothing major). Pete does great and honest work. Our ‘07 Toyota Camry had an issue with its radiator and some other issue with the AC. He fixed it quickly, efficiently and at an unheard of price. Pete did a fantastic job finding us parts that were much more affordable than other places. He did great work and finished very quickly. We broke down on the road, and he even came out on the freeway to check it out before we got it towed. He also gave us a ride to family about a half an hour away without asking anything for it. He went above and beyond what you would expect from any mechanic. If you need repairs, he's your guy.
