10/10 would do business with again. We just purchased an older Subaru from here with low mileage. The car had issues we noticed while checking it out and issues they noticed that we did not, all of which were addressed quickly and with quality work. Bob & co. Were the kindest people we've come across in recent time. Experienced businessman who's best interest is his customer's satisfaction rather than plumping up his wallet.

So I put on social media that my vehicle broke down had me very worried due to that. I’m a business man and there’s snow coming by. I need to get this vehicle up and running. They reached out to me and took very great care of me. They provided me with a tow and they had me up and running before the storm came highly recommend this business. Very great price very great people so if you were in need of any mechanic work, they are a five star all day.

I have bought my Toyota matrix from here 5 years ago on 80 thousand miles only yes every car has their flaws but I tell u it’s 2026 and I still have my Toyota with 105 thousand miles and I’ve drove that car everywhere.. not the only time I’ve bought cars from here and they are amazing… I’m currently going to keep my Toyota matrix but I’m going here very soon because I want to buy a suv and I’m hoping they will have one.. looking for a Toyota or a Honda suv… see yall soon

I visited American Auto Sales in Bristol, CT on December 31, 2025. The salesperson immediately jumped to financing and APR discussions before agreeing on a final price, and did not clearly disclose trade-in credit for our car. At one point, they sent a patronizing message implying we weren’t financially literate, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Due to the lack of transparency and respect, we decided not to purchase. Purchase at your own risk. Make sure to run the numbers and know your budget before visiting the vehicle you’re interested in.

Honest dealer, older vehicles can always have their issues but still more reliable than ththe junk the dealers produce today, but Michael & bill are great to work with, they did what I requested before I picked it up & have had my suburban for 6 months without issues. Family run shop & they typically have affordable priced vehicles in great shape.
