American Detail - PPF Film and Ceramic Coating

Buyer Beware — $9k wrap failed within weeks. I paid $9,000 to American Detail (Cypress, TX) for a full color wrap on my Mercedes Sprinter. The van is garage‑kept and I received it 7/12/2025. Within the first month, the job was already failing. Sloppy install: Visible gaps exposing the original paint, rough seams, and untidy edges—especially along the roof/windshield channel. Early failure: Edges began lifting within weeks (under a month). Careless reassembly: After the wrap, parts weren’t secured. The front‑right fog‑light cover fell off on the road, the other side was working loose, and both door‑camera covers started coming off. This is not what a $9k “professional” wrap should look like or how it should hold up. In my opinion, the workmanship and quality control were not up to stan

I just had color correction and ceramic coating done on my Jeep at American Detail. Allen and Ian were great to work with and were very helpful in providing advice and knowledge. I am extremely happy with the quality of the work. There were some challenges with it being an older jeep that had lived under a car cover for years, but the final result exceed my expectations.

I needed Tint for my Newly bought Tundra and daughter’s VW. They had them both done within my very hectic schedule and continue to accommodate after the fact.
