Do not use their recommended inspector Jim Volgarino at Vin-Val! I bought a vehicle from American dream machines and sadly paid and trusted him to look it all over. But what he didn’t mention is leaking oil, bubbling paint on the body (one larger than a quarter) and has a rough running engine from what I am hoping is just bad gas from sitting in their shop. The oil in the truck was very dark as well. American Dream Machine offered 200-300 for the paint repair which was nice but the leaking oil and bubbling paint should have been disclosed in vehicle description and likely won’t cover nearly half of the cost of just the repair of the paint alone. To say they didn’t know about bubbling paint and “small” oil leaks are normal on their cars is all you need to know about this place.

The cars are immaculate. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're in the market for a super clean, top notch (and sometimes one of a kind) classic. Every time I visit (usually during the Des Moines Art Festival when they open for viewing) they have several classic muscle and luxury cars as well as a few trucks. The owner is always there and seems cool. Such a cool place and well worth a visit.

Purchased a 1966 Corvette Convertible for the wife. Lynn and Tom were great to work with and very helpful with everything. Buying process was smooth and delivery was prompt and professional. The car was cleaner and better than advertised. We had one small mechanical issue with the car when it arrived and Tom worked with us to have it corrected. I would Definitely recommend AMD and would not hesitate to purchase from them again. These folks know their business and their customer service is Great.

Just bought my 69 Charger dream machine!! Researched alot and did my due diligence. Watch all the videos on their site as there is a lot info on it. Im a very satisfied customer! If you are spending this much money…I suggest that you visit their shop to actually look and feel the car you are purchasing These cars are 50 yrs old plus and will have flaws. All the staff there are great people! All my questions answered and even if I need help in the future they will always answer and help me!! Great customer service!! 5 ⭐️’z

So I traveled along way to not buy a car, but it was great experience. They gave me a accurate description of the car prior to my arrival. Super pleasant, easy to talk to , and hopefully will accept my offer. But the review deserves 5 stars and will recommend them to all my buddies who buy and muscle cars all over the country
