American Glass Co of Albany

I recently called Dave Glass to request a quote, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The person I spoke with was extremely rude throughout the call, and I was never able to get the quote I needed. I left the conversation feeling frustrated and unheard. Based on this interaction, I wouldn’t recommend them.

This place is the worst. I called to check if they will be able to replace my car glass and the one who answered the call said and I quote “I can’t do it! I can’t do it! ” and just hung up on me. If you can’t even talk to a customer about the issue, why do you even have a business.

Your driver with the license plate starting in 7893.. not only was dangerously driving on my bumper, but dangerously passed me and did the same behavior to the next car! This occurred on River Rd onto Balltown Rd, Niskayuna.

I was in the Albany area when my windshield got busted. It happened on a Sunday and I called in a Monday and explained I’m far away from home. They got the part ordered and got me in to replace it Tuesday. They even provided some transportation for me. Hands down the best and friendliest place I’ve been to. Thank you so much to the wonderful couple who owns this business.

Really great and fast service. I called on Monday Morning and they helped me go through my insurance. After various back and forth, insurance cleared it on Tuesday and they set me up for work on Thursday Morning. I've expressed my concern of using aftermarket glass as I've had terrible experiences with Safelite in the past (in terms of the quality of the glass). When I showed up to my appointment, they had me inspect the glass before, during, and after installation. Really great service and would use them again.
