Appointments recommended, but the owner is really good here and honest. If you want somebody who actually cares about their job and won't charge you to death then go here. They pointed out how the shop that I usually go to has been trying to scam me by leaving the oil filter and plug loose. My car could have been damaged really bad but they saved me hundreds (maybe thousands) of dollars. If you're in the San Jose area...go here. I implore you.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. SCAMMERS. I came in here to get our car checked out, classic case of scheming car repair shop. Got a firm estimate of $500 for the repairs, brought the car in and left it there. Get a call a couple of hours later that, of course, additional repairs are needed and very noncommittal about amount. Go to pick up the car and they tried to charge is over $700 . They also refused to give us the 20% discount on labor they promised us. And refused to swipe my card , insisting instead on writing down the credit card number which if you know anything about PCI standards is not allowed for merchants. Its not allowed for good reasons because thieves like these will use your card number for nefarious purposes. End result is we paid more than we were quoted or they would not

This place gets you right!! My car shook violently on the road and its an everyday driver so I had to fix it. I didn't expect for this guy Joset to get the job done as good as he did. I love the quality and I feel safe again. I had nothing but smiles driving again!! Definately will return with another vehicle soon and sending my friends there from now on. 5 Stars

My experience terrible..Took my car for a valve cover gasket..And my car is still smoking. Also spark plugs & radiator, First they said 5 hours my car would be done..And than i took it my car was misfiring..so Upset..took them 2 days to fix spark plugs..go figure..I still have to add oil still smoking and still leaking oil & keep putting anti freeze and Seems and runs like the plugs never or anything were done to my car! More problems now.. They didnt put parts on right after they do there job, and break things..my car was running smoothly before i even took my car in..Now all backwards.. Do Not Take Your Car to AMA Auto..not unless you want half ass job and take your money and charge you for things they didnt even do! i took my parts too..

They handle many general mechanic duties including conducting preventative and corrective maintenance, vehicle inspections, diagnostics and troubleshooting, and repairs. They have a natural instinct for finding the issue with a car, and work very efficiently and effectively to finish the job once they found the problem. FYI - ( new people working there) I recommend
