This place is run by a fantastic woman,I really had to get going so they did a quick diagnostic of my transmission problem. They figured it wouldn't take that long and to better convenience me they went ahead and began working on it. Very good pricing,and superior quality in their work. Will recommend.

We had a cracked flex plate on our promaster van when we arrived in town. We were directed to American Transmission. So happy with their level service! Laura understood our situation: traveling thru town in our home. She worked to get us in as soon as the part was ordered and delivered, which was so very much appreciated. She offered to give us a ride a couple times and offered to let us park at the shop. Thank you for taking care of us! Highly recommend if your transmission is involved.

Im from out of town and was visiting when I had a problem with my transmission. They were really busy but Laura was really helpful and fixed my truck and made everything work out even though there was really bad weather at the moment. My truck left the shop working better than when I bought it! Really appreciate the help and the excellent service!

Terrible experience. They had our work vehicle since January. Got it back for one day and broke down again. Took it back and they keep it for another few months. Never kept me reasonably informed and every time I called they always said they ordered parts. Our business lost money because they were having “issues with an employee” who they said sabotaged their vehicles. That vehicle was out of commission for seven months because that’s how long it took them. Extremely disappointed and will not be taking any other vehicles here nor recommending to anyone. Mind you we paid almost 5k for this… they should have at least offered us some type of refund for our troubles.

VERY unhappy customer! This business charged me $100 extra (on what I already had to pay for what my warranty didn’t cover), for a wrong transmission that was ordered by them, NOT BY ME OBVIOUSLY. The lady stated that she did not have young employees and only has elderly employees to remove this or even have the tools to move a transmission out of the way. It’s a mechanic shop and there’s no tools to remove this? How is this so? I even offered for my husband and father to remove this transmission out of the way to not be charged $100 extra and she declined due to ‘’supposedly’’ not knowing when the truck was going to come for it. Our vehicle came out with the check engine light on, super shaky, and the remote start does NOT even work anymore and our front seat was dirty and stained in colo
