Amick's Transmission Services

Amick's was highly recommended! Very home town friendly place! Seemed very knowledgeable, and I feel totally trusting putting my new transmission in here in near future (my car's gears work, except 5th)!

I called and told them what I was lead to believe what was wrong with my truck, they gave me a very good quote so I dropped my truck off he told me they would run some test to make sure that was the problem before he put the part in, about 2 hours after dropping my truck off he called me to let me know the truck was ready to go and that the problem was only simply a fuse that was blown. They could have definitely taken advantage of my lack of knowledge but they was honest and great people!

Dennis and Ernie are terrific! AAA dropped my truck off at the shop. I fully expected that my transmission was destroyed. I spoke with Dennis over the phone and he saId he would check it out and let me know. I was pleasantly suprised when he called back to tell me that my truck would require only some new lines and a general service. An honest mechanic is rare these days. They could have easily sold me a 5000 dollar transmission, but they only sold me what i needed and nothing more. I am a customer for life! Just a side note, this is the first time in my life that i felt the service i received was worthy of writing a review! Thanks a Million Dennis and Ernie!

Transmission went out on our work van and the folk's at Amick's repaired it quickly at a fair price. Excellent service and friendly staff made this shop a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

Very impressed by this place. I was passing through Cumberland had what I thought was a transmission problem. They diagnosed the problem (ignition coil) and found me a place that could fix it that morning, since they did not have time. All in about 10 minutes. I am not used to that type of old-fashioned service. Thank you Amick's Transmission!
